This article consolidates some commonly reported issues, workaround and solutions (if any) to iMRS Prime, firmware 1.59 or below.
Applicator not detected occasionally (intermittent)
By and large, this is the most common issues faced by Prime users. This has to do with the software detection algorithm currently used in Prime, and this is still not fine-tuned enough to offer stable and consistent detection. Upgrade to 1.59 firmware may or may not resolve the issue for your case, but it’s worthwhile to give it a try. So sometimes one applicator works and the other not working. This can manifest in all sort of error messages like applicator not present, applicator open-loop error, applicator failed, Coils bad and etc.

All parameters not set error message, when starting a session
When you see this error, it means the software thinks all the parameters needed for starting the desired session is not complete. This mostly a software-related bug and gap in implementation. There is also a situation whereby you are choosing the wrong program for a specific session. For instance, if you use Hybrid to run a Pad or Spot, you might get this error message, cause in Hybrid, you are expected to set temperature. Again, this has to do with checkpoint and filter implemented in software which should prevent a user from using Pad/Spot on the first place. During startup, the system loaded into a command prompt with screen upside down (like doing a firmware update, when you are not doing any upgrade)
This might have something to do with the state of the connector box. Whenever you hit into this issue, please report this to us. We can assist you in checking if there is any potential issue with the connector box or your system.
Applicators not detected at certain location, but works for some location
Rare, but does happen. This might have something to do with voltage stability at some locations Try to use a power source that has a lower current load and see if this makes a difference.
None of the Applicators can be detected all the time. None of the applicator works
If you are already at firmware version 1.59, check the serial number if there is any different from the label at the connector box. If you see your serial number is S000000 or 0000000, please contact us (cs@imrsasia.com) so we can advise you on the action.
System Features restricted to Basic (Fast Start and Manual Program) after upgrade to 1.59
This is not an issue by definition, but rather because starting from version 1.59, the license based feature activation is introduced. After upgrade to 1.59, go to Settings –> System information, and retrieve the serial number, and send it to cs@imrsasia.com so we can request for an activation key for you. The serial number on the connector box is not always the same as the actual serial number, and before firmware 1.59, we are not able to retrieve the system serial number from the system information, as it always shows a generic 123456789012345.
