There are generally two category of issues with PEMF applicators:

ERROR: Appl not Connected

This means either the applicator you selected is not connected (operational issue) or the system is not able to recognize the connected applicator.

For the later case, this could mean two things:

  1. Your applicator is faulty. Test this with another port to see if it comes back with the same error message. Or test with another applicator on the same port. If the other applicator works fine, then you can ascertain the problem is likely due to the specific applicator. Applicator itself is not repairable officially. Check with the regional office for replacement options.
  2. Your system connection jack is faulty. If the system is not able to recognize multiple applicator from the same or multiple ports, then the system could be the one that is faulty. You will need to replace the controller board in this case.

ERROR: Appl Broken

This usually means there is a broken circuit within the applicator. This is not repairable officially. Check with the regional office for replacement options.
