If you are not able to power up the iMRS Prime, follow the steps below to identify the issue
Check the Power Adapter supply. The black power adapter should shows a blue LED light if it’s properly plugged into a power source.
Check the connector box LED status. When you connect the power adapter to connector box, the LED light will turn amber – in standby mode. This is indicating it’s connected properly.
The LED light on the connector box will turn green when you power up the control unit successfully. When pressing the control unit power up button, you should also see a flash of red light on the screen next to the power button. If you don’t, it could means few things:
The cable connecting the control unit and the connector box is loose. Try to unplug and re-insert both ends of the cable. Make sure they goes all the way in. This is the most common issues, accounting for 60-70% of the powering up issues.
Faulty 20-pin cable. The control panel draws its power from the connector box. A faulty 20-pin cable can prevent this from working properly. Again, you can only verify this if you have get hold of a working 20-pin cable. This is the 2nd most common issues.
Faulty 20-pin port at the connector box. You can only verify this if you have an additional working connector box to test out with your existing control panel.
Faulty control panel. Similarly, you can verify this with a working control panel (and use back the 20-pin cable and connector box).
